We thought it would be fun to make our own DIY Rainbow Mailbox to encourage mail giving in our home.  We crafted our mail box from a nappy/diaper box and it is super simple to make. This craft is great for cutting, gluing and developing fine motor skills.  It also provides another opportunity to recycle and repurpose!

Popsicle Fish Craft

These popsicle fish are easy to craft and they require very few supplies.  It’s a great motor development workout and allows children to explore their creativity while decorating their fishes.  Whilst we were crafting, Little boy also named all the shapes he spotted. The basic shape of our fish is a triangle, however you can challenge your children to make fishes with other shapes too.

Recycled Funny Face Bottles

These recycled funny face bottles are so easy to make and children can really explore their creativity with this craft.  The idea of this craft is that the handle of the plastic container will become the bridge of the nose of each funny face.  Feel free to use whatever recyclables you have at your disposal to make the features of the funny faces. There is painting and gluing involved with this craft which makes a great fine motor workout too.
