Recycled DIY Christmas Advent Calendar

I thought it would be a great idea to make a Recycled DIY Christmas Advent Calendar for the boys to count down to Christmas… and to spare myself the daily nagging of “How many days is it to Christmas?”  We made the advent calendar from toilet rolls so it’s a genius way to recycle the toilet rolls we’ve been collecting. How to make a collage Koala

Crafting a koala using the collage technique is really simple and fun – we even gave our Koala a name… Kim!  We chose newspapers because its grey, black and white colours are the colours of a koala’s fur. We also use a toilet roll to make the koala’s nose.  This is a great way to recycle and reuse materials that would otherwise be thrown away.
