My children love puzzles so this DIY Paint Chip Shape Puzzle was a great way to get them involved with making their own. We attempted to make these DIY key rings as teacher gifts mainly because they looked easy enough for both boys to tackle…and I figured one can never have too many key rings!
DIY Spiderweb

This DIY Spiderweb Halloween craft provided many learning opportunities around nature, different cultures and history. The boys also learnt about Halloween symbols and how black is a traditional Halloween colour. A brilliant recycled craft because we got to use up our egg carton collection, this craft also provides a great fine motor skill workout with the painting, gluing, working with pipe cleaners and yarn weaving.
DIY Ndebele Houses

We recently had family visit us from Africa so my boys have been looking through books and asking lots of questions about the country. An image of the bold and vibrant Ndebele house paintings got the boys interested in making their own DIY Ndebele Houses - using old toilet rolls!
